The course objectives are to introduce the main notions, tools and business models for circular economy and product service systems, and to have the students practice some of them during simulations.

4. Compétences visées
- At the end of the course, students will be able to:
- understand the guiding principles of the circular economy and relate it to neighbouring concepts,
- introduce environmental and social value criteria in new products to be designed,
- offer solutions to reduce resources consumption of products along the whole life cycle,
- design business models for sustainable product – service systems or ecosystems,
- cooperate with stakeholders for the transition towards a circular economy or act as intermediaries in sustainability transitions,
- think and act critically on the circular economy and on product service systems
