1. Objectifs du cours

This course aims to introduce several economic dimensions to first grade students. The purpose is to tackle many topics related to economic history, markets, consumers, firms and the public sector, and to assess how economists address all issues related to them.

2. Description du cours

This course offers an introduction to the key concepts and themes in economics for first-year students. It explores foundational topics such as economic history, market mechanisms, consumer and firm behavior, and the role of the public sector. Through these themes, the course provides an overview of how economists approach and analyze real-world issues across different areas of the economy
